Mousetrails-The First Holy War

One day in 1980 while I was reading
the Christian Bible a question came to mind that would not be
completely answered until 2005. While reading about the bloody
battles in the Old Testament, I wondered to myself how many human
beings died directly, or indirectly, because of the God of the
Jews. But I was busy with my businesses and the question lay
dormant in the back of my mind until I came in contact with my
first computer and an easy way to record what I found.
When I started the research I
quickly realized that the numbers I had been reading were not
numerals, but were in written form. That meant I couldn't just
scan through looking for the numbers, I had to read every line in
the Bible. Suddenly the task became almost overwhelming, but I was
determined, so I drove myself into a task that would take all of
my spare time for years to come. The reason I'm telling you this
is to leave no doubt in your mind that I started in honest
ignorance of what I was about to find with no preconceived ideas.
I wasn't a writer and hadn't the least intention of writing a
book, but when I finished the research I was compelled, I was
driven to tell the world what I had discovered.
My total knowledge of the Bible was
what I had been taught in church as a child and the zealot ideas
of my mother as I grew up. I didn't like my mothers church and
left it's teachings as soon as I was old enough to say, “Enough!”
But what was pounded into me for the first 18 years of my life
would not go away. So imagine my surprise when I began to find
things written in the “word” that the church somehow just missed,
or glossed over. Very early in my research I learned that God was
not alone when He “created” man. He said,
"Let US make
mankind in OUR image and likeness;” The
words “us” and “our” are both plural. Who was He talking to? Then
I found another passage that got my attention.
When men began to
multiply on the earth, and had daughters born to them, the sons of
God saw that the daughters of men were fair, and they took wives
for themselves, as many as they wished. I thought,
“They did WHAT?” But it gets more involved.
There were GIANTS
on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when THE SONS OF
GOD HAD RELATIONS WITH THE DAUGHTERS OF MEN, WHO BORE CHILDREN TO
THEM. Any way you want to explain that one, that
makes the God of the Jews the grandfather of human children! But I
was to learn much, much more about this “God.”
He walked, talked, ate, showed
emotion, and looked like a mortal man.
And when he
[Abraham] raised his eyes he saw three men standing at a
distance from him. As soon as he saw them, he ran from the
entrance of the tent door to meet them, and bowed down to the
earth, and said, "My Lord, if I find favor with you, do not pass
by your servant.” Abraham saw three
men, then bowed to one and called him, “Lord.”
While Josue was
near Jericho, he raised his eyes and saw one who stood facing him,
drawn sword in hand. Josue went up to him and asked,"Are you one
of us or of our enemies?" He replied, "Neither. I am the captain
of the host of the Lord and I have just arrived."
A heavenly being walked among
Israel in battle dress and was not recognized as anything but a
common man. These “heavenly” beings, this “God” was seen many times in the
form of mortal man and they interbred with the daughters of man.
But there is more. This God flew 4000 years ago. The Israelites did not have a word for what we refer to as sky.
They called flying, riding on the clouds. Whenever the ark set
out, Moses would say,"Arise O Lord that your enemies may be
scattered, and those who hate you may flee before you."
And when it came to rest, he would say, "Return, O Lord, YOU
WHO RIDE ON THE CLOUDS, to the troops of Israel." And here
is another passage that tells me He flew. “There
is no God like the God of the darling, who RIDES THE HEAVENS IN
HIS POWER, and RIDES THE SKIES IN HIS MAJESTY.” And
still more.
And he rode upon the cherubim, and flew: and slid upon the wings
of the wind.
But this one leaves
no doubt. It even tells you what it sounds like when He flies.
And he said to
him: “Go forth, and stand upon the mount before the Lord; and
behold the Lord passeth, and a great and strong wind before the
Lord overthrowing the mountains, and breaking the rocks in pieces;
the Lord is not in the wind, and after the wind an earthquake; and
the Lord is not in the earthquake. And after the earthquake a
fire; the Lord is not in the fire, and after the fire A WHISTLING
OF A GENTLE AIR..”
I found many
ways to describe this God. Angry, vindictive, gold hungry, He
ordered genocide, grandfathered human children, and he was a
fighter, but I was actually surprised to find a passage that
described him in the light that I was seeing him in.
“Hence
it is said in the, "BOOK OF THE WARS OF THE LORD"
He was a war God.
He turned
Egyptian slaves into an army, taught them the element of surprise,
and what to do with the spoils of war.
He gave them specific
instructions on how to approach a city.
He was a tactician, and
statistician. He was
familiar with supply lines and the law of diminishing returns.
And then one day when
he had all the gold and silver in Chanaan, he disappeared never to
be seen again. But I have no doubt that there have been beings on
and above this earth with the power of flight and the power to
precisely cut and move enormous stones to build dwellings,
monuments, and pyramids, in a much different fashion than the
“experts” try to make us believe.

I have written a manuscript using facts researched from the Old
Testament of the Christian Bible. My research started with the
question, “How many humans died in the Old Testament?” Twelve
thousand died in this battle, thirty thousand in that slaughter,
page after page of death and total destruction. As I read, and
calculated, other interesting information began to come to light.
Do you know how many gallons of wine God ordered for his New
Year’s celebration, or how many people died in the Old Testament?
Did you know that the God of the Jews knew nothing about the human
body He “created” or that He was well-known as a war god? Other

From a single working mother I loved the book. I
couldn't put it down, which means I fell asleep several times at 3 am with the
book still in my lap. I was shocked over the death count, but I wasn't too
shocked over the treatment of women. I was raised in a family that believed
women were "less" than men. I've studied the Bible for many years. I was raised
in a Baptist church and attended a Baptist school for 8 years. At no time in
church or school did I hear of the many wrongs done by God. The cold blooded
murders and the abuse of women all took place at the hand of a "loving" God. I
used my Bible everytime you mentioned a verse. I was shocked by the stories in
the very book I was taught to believe and trust in. It amazes me that anyone
would pray to a god that cruel. "Blind Faith" has a new meaning to me after

I can appreciate the research of the Bible and the
direct approach of "Reverse Argument." However! I don't believe, and you must as
well, that any Christian will ever give this book a chance. I like the way you
have used the facts as written in the Bible. Your views are backed by the facts.
This would upset all of Christianity forever, if they would only be open minded
enough to read it. You have simply proved to me what I knew as a child, sitting
in a Pentecotal church and picking the preacher's sermon apart in my mind. The

polytheism issue with theologians and find that they are in tune with you. What
strikes me rather forcibly is the way you went about this: you stuck to the
words the text and simply pulled together the statements that were made. This is
